We will be participating in a Global Teenager Project (GTP) learning circle. This will be a team effort between teachers and students who might otherwise never have the opportunity to interact.

The goals of the learning circle : Although the technology plays an essential role in facilitating the exchanges, it is not the focus of the activity.

The essential goals are:
to promote intercultural and regional understanding and sensitivity
to foster problem solving and critical thinking
to enhance communication skills
to develop collaborative work strategies
learn to use telecommunications technology

Participating in this GTP can be a fun and exciting way for students and teachers to learn together by working on a common task: to gain, process and present information.
During the circle, students are both working on their own and each other's questions ( in their second language -French). Receiving responses to their own question and responding to others make the project more valuable. Students will be in contact with other students from the francophonie which will allow them to enhance their language skills as well.

You may help by discussing with your child possible questions that may be asked related to the theme of FAMILY. This theme will invite us to share the organisation of family, the structure of the family, everything that can be related to family among different countries.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Have a great night
